Why Basketball and Women Is Not a Suitable Plan A: Geomel Benson, Model and Actor, talks about not having a plan B after basketball. He explains his only goals were women and playing ball. When he saw that not happening his goals turn into a destructive lifestyle. He explains he started hanging out with the wrong crowd and not stay true to himself.
Geomel tells the story when he knew he had to stop chasing his professional basketball dreams. He talks about having the opportunity to play overseas. A week before he is supposed to leave he tears his achilles tendon. On top of his list of current injuries and he knew it was time to give up basketball.
Geomel explains his turning point on his outlook on life. He talks about his relationship with his mother turning for the worst because of his attitude. He shares that he had to reevaluate his self to mend his relationship with his mother.
